One ought every day

"One ought, every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible,to speak a few reasonable words."John Wolfgang von Goethe

Sleeping Baby

Sleepyhead baby Lillian wore her little cotton bonnet to keep her head warm. What an exceptionally pretty baby she is! Just a few more days for me to take pictures of her before the family returns to California.

Nuthatch

A pair of nuthatches come to my bird feeders everyday. The remind me of marching band members with their neatly designed plumage. Their backs are gray-blue with white faces and tummies and black hoods and streaks. They walk head down on the bark of trees looking for snacks of insects.
