My House

My home in the country is a blessing.
Even though it’s an old house with many flaws,
it is a good place
 full of peacefulness and happiness.
There is plenty of quiet.
There are lots of trees and the kind of space
you need for a large family.
I love being out here far from city crowding
and the noise of traffic.
Our place in the country is a gift from God.

  1. I thought my comment posted twice, Elece, so deleted it, but then it deleted both. Sorry — I'll try again:

What a great photo. Love how the tree is in focus but the house behind is not. Also love how you're writing a few lines to go with each of your photos. Good stuff!
