The kittens wrestle and mew in the basket.
The tulips sway in the spring breeze.
The sheets flap on the line.
The trees put out new leaves.
The children run barefoot and call out.
The dogs bark and then lie in the sun.
The bluebirds are keeping a nest.
The garden produces tomatoes and cucumbers.
The wind jostles the wind chimes and rustles the treetops.
The old men rake leaves.
The bonfires put up streams of smoke.
The garden dries and withers after the turnips are dug.
The frost paints the window panes.
The cold wraps the house like a blanket.
The snow falls in large wet flakes.
The cardinal perches in the sycamore tree.
And I think to myself–what a wonderful world!
it is a beautiful world in Fall Season, especially through your eyes!

Yes, the kittens caught my attention, Elece, but as I read your beautiful poem I was touched. I had to read it again because it moved me. Thank you!
