The great old oak holds
Arms spread for nesting birds overhead
And squirrel’s retreat.

He blesses us with
Shade plus, in fall, an orange parade,
Acorns mark the beat.

Hospitable friend
Swinging happy children singing aloft
On ropes and wooden seat.
