Tulsa Botanic Garden

“Fill your heart with beauty and your soul to the brim.”

A trip to north Tulsa brings us to the new gardens. A pond circled with trees and flowers and picnic tables. The tulips were in bloom and also the dogwood trees. Children ran playing and people climbed the stairs beside the fountains. There was a tree house to explore and a dragon cave to see. Go inside and find adventure. Cross the bridge to the little island. Tulips bloom everywhere.

The waterfalls are beautiful tjough manmade . Trees and shrubs which arent blooming yet are planted with tulips and lilies and roses. The water splashes and run and birds sing in the trees.

The tulips of every color are blooming in the sunshine and the green leaves like spears offset them.

In the tree house, accesible by a ramp, are chairs carved with birds and leaves, sun, moon, and stars. The chairs are large and you feel like sitting on a throne. The wind that day was sweeping across the park and bringing all the scents of spring.

It was LEGO day and this fox was one of the displays. We also found a lawn mower, a lilypad with a frog, a little girl digging, and a gardener with a rake.

The dogwood trees were blooming beautifully and loads of plants were coming up to be the flowers for our next visit.

More tulips colored the lanscape. How pretty!

Sculptures around the pond contrasted with the flowers and schrubs. We walked in the sunshine and wind

I loved these big white and pink tulips. They reminded me of a poem I am trying to remember;

I am the vase of God.

He fills me to the brim,

He mends my soul with love,

I am complete in Him.

“And in Him you have been made complete.”

Colossians 2:10 NASB
