White Light Flowers

Camelia

“White is bright and pure because it reflects all light around it.”

Crocus is the precursor of spring. It pushes its bloom up through ice and snow

on the first hints of warm weather coming.

White roses are like summer clouds on stems. What wonderful softness.

Easter lilies spring open like the tomb giving up Jesus in his purity.

Peruvian lilies white with steaks of green and red speak of experiences.

Soft as butterfly wings are white gardenias.

Magnolia blooms are full of grandeur and waxen beauty.

White tea roses are scented with a perfume of a soft sweet spring breeze.

A lily is white like cream and feeds the soul rather than the tummy.

Rose of Sharon, white with a red heart, dances on a green stem.

Fresh hydrangea — not pink, not blue — just wonderful white.

Observe how the lilies of the field grow;

they do not toil nor do they spin,

yet I say that not even Solomon in all his glory clothed himself like one of these.

Matthew 6:28-29
